Uorfi Javed, a social media influencer, was arrested in Dubai for filming a video in a "revealing outfit" in a public area. Times of India reported that Javed made a video of herself in an outfit she designed and shot it in a public place for her Instagram handle.
“The fact that there is no problem with the outfit but where she shot the video was an open area, and they don't consider her to be allowed to wear what she wore,” a source further informed TOI. This year, Javed switched her name from Urfi Javed to Uorfi and urged people to write with caution. She stated, "Hi guys, so I've officially changed my name to UORFI" in her Instagram story. The pronunciation will be the same as Urfi! merely a spelling adjustment. Just want everyone to write my name with care right now so that even I can be mindful (I keep forgetting).
